GNDR survey on disaster risk financing

Abstract

Please complete our new survey on disaster risk financing: https://lnkd.in/eKHwSW5c Together with the Centre for Disaster Protection, we are launching a new survey to better understand how disaster risk management is financed - and the challenges civil society organisations face in accessing the funding needed to plan, prepare and respond. This survey is part of a new project we are running with the Centre for Disaster Protection, an organisation that specialises in improving how disasters are planned for and paid for. In particular, we want to hear your perspective on:

• Gaps and barriers in accessing funding
• How disaster risk reduction, preparedness and response are currently financed
• The role that pre-arranged finance could play in improving responses when disasters strike
• Your inputs will help shape growing political and policy discussions on disaster financing, strengthen the visibility of local actors, and inform a new policy research paper.
