Geneva analyzes Cuban experience in disaster protection

Ways to encourage cooperation and use the Caribbean island's experience in protecting populations affected by natural disasters were discussed during a meeting between the head of the National Civil Defense's Major General Jose Ramon Pardo Guerra, and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Deputy Director General Laura Thompson, attending the 4th Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction.
