The Government has plans to adopt and implement a tsunami response strategy, "we deeply value the commitment, contribution and sacrifices made to build up our strength and resilience in disasters," Provincial Development and National Disaster Management Ministry permanent secretary Lieutenant Colonel Inia Seruiratu said to the Fiji Times.
