Call for submissions: Environment & Urbanization, October 2011

For this issue, there is particular interest in community-led and local government-led measures to identify risk and vulnerability and act to reduce these. This includes measures that remove or reduce the risk, and measures that reduce the impact of disasters when they happen. We also encourage submissions that seek a more detailed understanding of disaster risk in urban areas and how this is influenced by urban contexts and urban policies and practices.
