Mission

東日本大震災の復興の検証を、被災者の視点に立って進めるとともに、得られた研究成果を被災者の救済と被災地の復興に役立てることを目的として、2018年12 月に発足。

代表は千葉昭彦東北学院大学教授、事務局長を遠州尋美元大阪経済大学教授が務める。「みやぎ」の名を冠しているが、地域を限定せずに研究者、専門家、復旧・復興支援に取り組む人々の幅広い参加を求めている。

 

The organization was established in December 2018 with the aim of examining the recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake from the perspective of the victims, and using the results of its research to help provide relief to the victims and to contribute to the recovery of the affected areas.

Voluntary Commitments

The organization has no registered commitments.

The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
