Global Animal Disaster Management Conference
This online emergency management conference is a world-first that looks at the considerations for animals and brings together leading emergency experts in this field. Organised by Animal Evac New Zealand, the conference will connect leading animal emergency and disaster researchers with practitioners and fellow academics. The online format offers a staggered series of free-to-view, online and recorded webinars.
The interactive presentations offer convenient time zones for those presenting and viewing. Zoom webinars will be used for the event as well as the EventXD app to enhance attendee experience and gain feedback. Animal Evac New Zealand has partnered with the Australian Institute for Disaster Resilience to publish a special edition of the Australian Journal of Emergency Management during 2021.

- Proceeding paper submission deadline: 7 February 2021
- Online conference opens: 15 February 2021
