7th Disaster Risk Communication in The New Normal

This course will be in a blended modality (Online and Face to Face). February 27 - March10, 2023 will be the online phase and March 15-17, 2023 will be the face to face phase. 

Short course communication

Disaster Risk communication is a critical component of Disaster Risk Management (DRM) because it shapes people's perceptions of risk and influences their actions. This course is designed to help the participants to develop a disaster risk communication plan which will guide them to effectively identify the target audience and develop strategies to influence the desired behavioral changes within the target audience.

The course will lead to the development of tailored disaster risk communication plans that the participants should work on when they return to their organization. Coaching and mentoring is an integral part of the course.

Course fee

$900 (without accommodation) | $1,200 (with accommodation)

Fees are inclusive of course materials (soft copy), cost of instructions and course certificate. For face-to-face training, fee is inclusive of morning and afternoon snacks and lunch during the course.
