Institute of Disaster Management and Vulnerability Studies, University of Dhaka is organizing a virtual meeting on International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction, 2020. This year the key theme of the virtual meeting Disaster Risk Governance. Dr. Md. Enamur Rahman, MP; State Minister, Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief (MoDMR) will be the Chief Guest of the seminar. Prof. Dr. A. S. M. Maksud Kamal; Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Academic), University of Dhaka, and Md. Mohsin; Secretary, Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief (MoDMR) will be the Special Guests of the seminar. Prof. Dr. Khondoker Mokaddem Hossain; Ex-Pro-Vice Chancellor, Bangladesh Open University and Founding Director of Institute of Disaster Management and Vulnerability Studies, University of Dhaka will present the keynote of the seminar. Prof. Dr. Mahbuba Nasreen; Director, Institute of Disaster Management and Vulnerability Studies, University of Dhaka will chair the event.
