Outline
A dissemination event for the Rochdale Flood Poverty and Resilient Roch projects. These are aimed at encouraging cross sectoral, integrated approaches to building more holistic climate change resilience through the flooding lens where flood resilience forms part of a wider approach to neighbourhood regeneration, housing management and community economic and environmental empowerment. The event will provide an opportunity to focus on and discuss specific aspects of the projects.
The Rochdale Flood Poverty project was funded by the North West Regional Flood and Coast Committee. The reports can be found at: Rochdale Flood Poverty Executive Summary and Rochdale Flood Poverty Full Report
The Resilient Roch project is funded by Defra as part of the £200 million Flood and Coastal Innovation Programmes which is managed by the Environment Agency. The programmes will drive innovation in flood and coastal resilience and adaptation to a changing climate.
