Date

Making Cities Resilient 2030 (MCR2030) is an initiative led by the UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction and its partners to support cities in taking action to reduce disaster risk in alignment with the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030. It is a unique cross-stakeholder initiative for improving local resilience through advocacy, sharing knowledge and experiences, establishing mutually reinforcing city-to-city learning networks, injecting technical expertise, connecting multiple layers of government, and building partnerships.

The regional webinar brings to light cities at various stages of their resilience journey to discuss and learn from each other, showcasing the value of the network and the support of partners. The event aims to give cities the opportunity to connect with peers and get inspiration from different cases, in the spirit of peer learning for resilience building central to the MCR2030 initiative.
