Event description
The Youth Adaptation Action Day 2025 will be launched on 9 October 2025 with a Global Virtual Consultation on Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and National Adaptation Plans (NAPs). This consultation will bring together youth leaders, policymakers, and partners from around the world to exchange perspectives and strengthen youth-driven recommendations.
The Youth Climate Adaptation Action Day will take place on 12 October 2025 as the world's largest annual youth-led adaptation event, mobilizing young people in over 100 countries. In 2025, the Day will focus on youth engagement in NDCs, NAPs, and adaptation, ensuring that young voices help shape more resilient futures.
The launch virtual event, organized by the Global Center on Adaptation (GCA) at the largest floating office in Rotterdam, marks the start of a long week of celebrations where young people, youth-led organizations, students, and grassroots groups will organize consultations.
