In collaboration with national and international organisations, Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) is organising a webinar to present the experience of hospitals internationally in order to develop a set of lessons to inform future resilience policies and plans. The “International Webinar – Healthcare Resilience to Major Disasters: Learning from the COVID-19 pandemic” brings together managers, clinicians, researchers from paramedics and engineering to discuss the complexity of healthcare delivery during pandemics and identify opportunities for planners and hospitals to improve the resilience of healthcare. The webinar is a collaboration between Dr Nebil Achour and Dr Federica Pascale.
