International Crisis and Risk Communication Conference (ICRCC) 2026
- English
We are risk & crisis communication
There were a lot of lessons that we have learned during the COVID-19 pandemic, but one of the most important ones is the value of sharing lessons learned about risk and crisis communication and supporting evidence-based decision-making — globally. As we continue to focus more natural hazards, technological risk, reputational crises, and many other threats to organizations and people, we must continue to apply these lessons. More than a decade ago the International Crisis and Risk Communication Conference started at the University of Central Florida. In 2023 the conference took a year off and with the feedback and work of crisis and risk communication scholars and practitioners from around the world, we decided to form the International Crisis and Risk Communication Association to do more than offer a conference — to be a central international resource for excellence in research and practice in crisis and risk communication.
