Indonesian film on 2004 tsunami to be aired worldwide

The Indonesian film "Pesan dari Samudra" (A Message from the Ocean) which was sponsored by the National Disaster Mitigation Agency, the Indonesian Red Cross and the Australia-Indonesia Facility for Disaster Reduction will be aired worldwide. The film, directed by Riri Riza, was made to spread messages of prevention about tsunamis and the way to cope with natural disasters. 

The film will be shown in Indonesia on the anniversary of the 2004 tsunami that killed a quarter of a million people across South-east Asia.
