Risk Society organization is launching a series of workshops on how to improve aid effectiveness under uncertainties. The first workshop is an introduction to the concept of risk and its implications for development planning. The second workshop is focused on the concept of risk landscape and setting strategic priorities for development interventions. The third workshop is focused on integrated risk management framework (IRM) for civil society organizations (CSOs).

Workshop 3: Integrated Risk Management (IRM) Framework

IRM Framework

During this session participants will discuss how risk management supports decision-making within the organization and thereby, increases effectiveness, efficiency and relevance of organizational performance. They will discuss a blueprint model for integrated risk management (IRM) – a framework specifically designed to enable a wide range of civil society organizations to identify and assess risks and thereby inform strategic and operational decision-making at the project/programme/portfolio levels.
