IDDRR events from Cox's Bazar (Camp Settlement and Host Communities)

October 13 is the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction Day (IDDRR) and government, humanitarian and development partners are observing the day with the spirit of ‘Fighting Inequality for a Resilient Future’.

In line with the global drive to raising mass awareness among the community people along with the actors and to socialize the disaster risk mitigation, concepts/approaches of community #Resilience, promoting diversity and inclusion in Disaster Risk Management (DRM), Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS), International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC)/American Red Cross jointly with Cox’s Bazar district administration and partners kicked of aseries of events including cyclone, fire, earthquake drills and an awareness rally.
