On the 14 th October took place in the city of Lisbon, a Seminar under the theme 'Local Emergency Planning'.
The Lisbon City Council through the Civil Protection Department celebrate this year's International Disaster Reduction Day with a Seminar where the public entities invited, shared their experiences about emergency planning, citizenship in a disaster environment and the role of local communities in disaster risk reduction.
The 'Ageing People' and resilience theme was also focused on a meeting at the Lisbon Geographic Society brought by the Director of the Civil Protection Department to an audience mainly from academia areas.
