4th Gender Equality and Social Inclusion in Disaster Risk Reduction Course (course fee required)
- English
Course purpose:
The course will provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to operationalize gender equality and social inclusion into each phase of disaster risk reduction programs.
Key aspects:
In disasters, the needs of women, girls, boys and men are different and distinct. However, women and girls are disproportionally affected. Other marginalized and vulnerable sectors of the population such as persons with disabilities and persons with special needs are as equally affected.
With the maxim that genuine development must leave no one behind, development practitioners are strongly encouraged to attend this course as it will provide them with an improved capacity to develop and implement gender equality and social inclusion strategies in DRR contexts.
Course Methodology:
This course will be delivered in Face to Face modality from 17-21 October 2022.
Course fee is USD1,600.
Registration:
Interested persons can register for the course at www.adpc.net/apply.
