Organised by the COST Action NERO (CA22164), X-Fire 2026 is a forum dedicated to discussing the dynamics, observation, prediction, and management of wildfires that challenge conventional knowledge and tools.
This is a unique opportunity to connect with scientists, practitioners, and policymakers from across Europe and beyond.
We invite contributions on themes including, but not limited to:
- Modelling of extreme wildfire events
- Observing extreme wildfire events
- Drivers, trends, and future projections
