The 2021 Common Alerting Protocol (CAP)Implementation Workshop will be 13-14 October, 13:00-17:15 CEST(Geneva, Switzerland, time). The Workshop will be conducted as an online Webinar and call-in instructions will be sent to all registered participants. Documents pertaining to the Workshop can be found on the Workshop website. CAP, designated as ITU Recommendation X.1303, is recognized internationally as the key standard for societies to achieve all-hazards, all-media public alerting for emergencies. CAP Implementation Workshops provide a forum for implementers of CAP and associated organizations to discuss how best to expand adoption of the CAP standard and to share practices among users of the standard.

There is no charge to participate and anyone interested in emergency alerting is welcome: managers, technical staff, media, etc., including commercial organizations, governments, and non-governmental organizations. If you have CAP implementation experiences or insights to share, please let the Program Committee know that you want to give one of the presentations. You can contact the Program Committee by e-mail to the Chair: Eliot.J.Christian@gmail.com. As usual, presentations will be limited to 20 minutes. Accepted presenters will be notified on 1 September 2021.
