1st Financing for Disaster and Climate Resilience
This course will be in a blended modality (Online and Face to Face). August 7-8, 2023 will be the online phase and August 9-11, 2023 will be the face to face phase.
Short course introduction
One of the major challenges faced in achieving disaster and climate resilience is the lack of required resources, more specifically, financial resources. The course provides guidance on how global and regional disaster risk and climate funds can be accessed for sustainable financing, including strategies for mobilizing resources.
The course will lead to the development of tailored resource mobilization plans through a series of write shops, presentations, discussions and consultations.
Course fee
$900 (without accommodation) | $1,200 (with accommodation)
Fees are inclusive of course materials (soft copy), cost of instructions and course certificate. For face-to-face training, fee is inclusive of morning and afternoon snacks and lunch during the course.
