COP31
Introduction
The 2026 UN Climate Change Conference (COP31) will bring governments, international organizations, businesses, scientists and civil society together in Antalya, Türkiye, to accelerate implementation of the Paris Agreement. Chaired by Australia, COP31 comes at a critical moment as countries translate climate commitments into concrete investments, projects and actions that can deliver measurable progress.
Building on the outcomes of the Bonn Climate Change Conference, negotiations will focus on strengthening national climate targets, advancing adaptation and resilience, mobilizing climate finance, and accelerating the global energy transition. As climate-related disasters continue to increase in frequency and severity, particular attention is being placed on improving access to support for vulnerable countries and strengthening efforts to reduce risk and build resilience.
