Individual consultant (earthquake early warning system)

UNESCO seeks the services of an experienced individual consultant to support the development of the baseline of global mapping of the earthquake early warning system.

Purpose of the assignment

UNESCO, as one of the few entities working on earthquake early warning system (EQEWS) through such as International Platform for Reducing Earthquake Disasters, International Platform on Earthquake Early Warning Systems, and the partnership with the private company, has been supporting to establish early warning systems in the earthquake prone countries. In order to have a strategic approach to support the Member States most in need,

UNESCO, therefore, seeks the services of an experienced individual consultant to support the development of the baseline of global mapping of the earthquake early warning system.
