Chemonics International seeks an experienced chief of party to lead an anticipated regional disaster preparedness and response project in the Latin America and Caribbean region.
Responsibilities include:
executing and managing a multi-country contract, which will deliver technical assistance in disaster preparedness and response, including extensive training programs to disaster responders throughout the region, mitigation and strategic planning, and provision of initial response capability for disasters.
Qualifications:
advanced degree preferred;
minimum 10-15 years of experience working in disaster preparedness and response, humanitarian assistance, or a related field;
demonstrated experience managing large, complex programs;
extensive experience in and knowledge of the Latin America and Caribbean region;
fluent Spanish.
