Indonesia: A global champion in advancing the disaster risk finance agenda
This case study, part of the Adaptation and Resilience Solutions in Action series, looks at two flagship instruments: the Pooling Fund Bencana (PFB), a national fund for disaster preparedness and response, and the State Assets Insurance Program (ABMN), which now insures more than 10,000 government buildings.

With support from GSFF, the Risk Finance Umbrella (RFU), and other partners, Indonesia's experience shows the importance of political leadership, long-term financing, and strong institutional coordination.
