The Earth Systems and Climate Change (ESCC) Hub, established in 2015, is a partnership of Australia’s leading Earth systems and climate change research institutions:

- Bureau of Meteorology
- University of New South Wales
- Australian National University
- Monash University
- University of Melbourne
- University of Tasmania.
The ESCC Hub is hosted by CSIRO and is one of six hubs supported by funding through the Australian Government’s National Environmental Science Program.
The role of the ESCC Hub is to ensure that Australia’s policies and management decisions are effectively informed by Earth systems and climate change science, now and into the future.
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
