On occasion of 2014 IDDR, an one-day national seminar will be held on the theme of aging population and Disasters on October 12, 2014 . The seminar will include lectures from representatives of governmental organizations, NGOs and civil societies, and academia. In addition, a panel discussion has been organized on integrating needs of older people in planning for and response to disastersâ€ť.
