The main objective of the workshop is to share the forensic investigations of disasters (FORIN) methodology proposed by the Integrated Research on Disaster Risk (IRDR) programme with its participants in order to understand the complex and underlying causes of disasters.

Participants will be expected to apply the FORIN methodology through case studies in different Latin-American countries.
