Mission
CASAS.ES makes the public data on every building in Spain readable for the people who live in it. It is a free web map with a data sheet for each of Spain's 12.9 million buildings, built only from official and open data: the Spanish Cadastre, the National Geographic Institute, the National Statistics Institute, the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the regional registries of energy performance certificates.
Every building sheet shows whether the building lies in an officially mapped flood zone of Spain's National Flood Zone Mapping System (SNCZI, Ministry for the Ecological Transition), both river and coastal, with the return period of the zone (10, 100 or 500 years). The check is free, needs no registration and is available for each of Spain's 12.9 million buildings, so that buyers, tenants, homeowners and municipalities can see a building's flood exposure before a purchase, a rental or a renovation.
Each sheet also shows the terrain altitude and slope, the building's age and the official energy performance rating of the building. Every dataset is cited with a link to its official publication at https://casas.es/fuentes.

Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
