United Kingdom: Local government and housing act 1989 (revised 2011)

This is an act to provide for a national code of local government conduct and to make provisions about certain existing grants and about financial assistance to and planning by local authorities in respect of emergencies. Specific disaster risk reduction provisions are included in Section 156 of this act.
