A training catalogue for civil protection and disaster management professionals

The UCPM training programme for civil protection and disaster management personnel aims to improve the competencies of experts, and to enhance coordination, compatibility and complementarity of capacities involved in UCPM operations. It helps to better prepare for disasters and contributes to UCPM response capability. Since 2004, over 15 000 course places have been offered to EU Member States, UCPM Participating States, third countries, EU staff, and United Nations (UN) and international organisations. UCPM courses are intended to supplement national training provided to experts by their home countries and organisations.
