Hungary: Act on the direction and organization of disaster protection and the protection against serious accidents related to hazardous materials (Act LXXIV of 1999)

This law provides for the establishment and operation of Hungary’s uniform system of prevention of natural and man-made disasters threatening life, security and natural environment. It also regulates organization and functioning of government risk management bodies and the measures to be applied during emergencies.
