The Climate Change Adaptation Action Program (P-3AC), outlined in this resolution, aims to achieve the second objective of the ENAAC 2020 strategy—implementing adaptation measures. The program focuses on identifying physical interventions that directly impact the region. It establishes action lines and priority adaptation measures, specifying involved entities, monitoring indicators, and potential funding sources.

The nine key action lines aim to reduce the main climate-related impacts and vulnerabilities in the region, specifically addressing: a) increased frequency and intensity of rural fires; b) more frequent and intense heatwaves; c) longer and more severe droughts and water shortages; d) heightened desertification risk; e) rising maximum temperatures; f) more frequent and intense extreme rainfall events; g) rising sea levels; and h) increased frequency and intensity of extreme events leading to coastal erosion and flooding.
