This report provides a detailed breakdown of economic losses and damage caused by severe flooding and landslides in the Seychelles, and the nearby islands of Praslin and La Digue, after heavy rains resulting from tropical cyclone Felleng on January 2013.
This comprehensive risk analysis of the Seychelles is intended to determine the nature of the hazards and vulnerabilities that need to be addressed.
The NCCS will provide a coherent and consolidated response to climate change. This strategic document will remain a “working” document intended to be updated and revised on an ongoing basis in response to new challenges and opportunities.

The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
