Bahrain National Platform

Bahrain launched a National Civil Protection Platform led by the Ministry of Interior. It is described as an integrated national initiative to enhance public safety, raise risk awareness, and deliver timely information to citizens and residents. 

The platform's vision is to cultivate a culture of safety across the Kingdom and strengthen its emergency strategy by sharing knowledge, alerts, guidelines, and risk information. 

It is anchored in Bahrain’s National Emergency Strategy and aligned with crisis management and civil defence mechanisms. 

It embraces community engagement and aims to promote awareness and preparedness. 

The platform provides several services or functions, such as: 

• Early warnings and alerts (natural/man-made hazards);
• Emergency preparedness guidance/materials;
• Public safety information, guidelines, and risk awareness content;
• Sector-specific risk data (for infrastructures, health, transport, etc.).
