The theme of the forum, Transforming Our Cities for a Better Urban Future, seeks to strengthen relationships and develop action and policy to improve urban environments, in the context of achieving Sustainable Development Goal 11 – “making cities inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable”. WUF11 will include an extraordinary dialogue on urban crisis response and recovery in light of the war in Ukraine. The conflict has had a devastating impact on the whole region, including Poland, which has received more than three million Ukrainian refugees.
