Time:
11:00-12:00 (GMT+7)
About:
The Women's International Network for Disaster Risk Reduction (WIN DRR) Leadership Awards Ceremony 2026 will celebrate the women leading change in disaster risk reduction across Asia and the Pacific.
The awards, implemented by the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR), with support from Australia and SM Prime Holdings, recognise women whose leadership, expertise and commitment are helping build more inclusive and resilient communities.
This year’s ceremony will spotlight the achievements and journeys of the 2026 Rising Star and Excellence Award finalists. It will highlight how women’s leadership and meaningful participation help accelerate the implementation of the Sendai Framework and its Gender Action Plan (Sendai GAP) to strengthen gender-responsive and inclusive disaster risk reduction.
Join us as we celebrate the WIN DRR finalists whose leadership is helping build safer, more resilient communities across the Asia-Pacific region, and reveal the winners of the 2026 WIN DRR Rising Star and Excellence Awards.
