Webinar: Measuring the results of disaster risk management interventions
- English
About
This webinar will present new IndiKit guidance on key disaster risk management (DRM) indicators. We will introduce indicators that measure the achievement of common DRM objectives - from improved disaster risk knowledge and increased adoption of risk reduction practices to strengthened community preparedness, improved governance, enhanced early warning and anticipatory action, and reduced disaster impacts on vulnerable groups.
The session will explain which indicators you can use, how they differ, what methodologies they apply, and what to pay attention to when using them. Special emphasis will be placed on ensuring that your measurements reflect the experiences and outcomes of those most at risk. We will also show you where to find detailed step-by-step guidance on using the most important indicators and provide ample space for your questions.
The webinar will be held in English. A recording will be made available on the IndiKit website after the session.
