Understanding volcanoes - IAVCEI 2008 general assembly

The main theme of the meeting will be "Understanding Volcanoes". The meeting is devoted to volcanism and volcano-tectonics in all environments, and the impact of volcanic eruptions on the surface environment and human activities. We also offer a variety of short intra-meeting as well as extended pre- and post-meeting field excursions under the umbrellas of Ocean island volcanism.
