About

The 8th international Adaptation Futures Conference(AF2025) is hosted by the University of Canterbury in partnership with the World Adaptation Science Programme (WASP). As the flagship global event on climate change adaptation, it brings together practitioners, researchers, policymakers, community leaders and communicators from across the world to network, co-create, learn and accelerate adaptation action.

SEI's participation in AF2025 will span interactive panels, workshops, side events, storytelling sessions and knowledge co-production formats. The contributions will especially focus on bridging science and practice, emphasizing inclusive approaches, Indigenous knowledge, creative engagement and enhancing enabling conditions for adaptation (such as finance, justice and cross-sector collaboration).
