Roundtable on the Contribution of FBOs to the Sendai Framework and Opening Ceremony of the exhibition “Restoring Our Humanity”
The roundtable, co-organized by Joint Learning Initiative, World Council of Churches and Soka Gakkai International (SGI), will bring together representatives from UN agencies, NGOs and academic institutions that will highlight the role of faith-based organizations (FBOs) in implementing the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction.
The exhibition “Restoring Our Humanity” was jointly created by the Asian Disaster Reduction and Response Network (ADRRN) and the SGI and was first shown at the World Humanitarian Summit earlier this year. The aim of the exhibition is to encourage viewers to reflect on actions they can take at individual, community and global levels to address humanitarian issues.
Intended Audience
We welcome those who are keen on the Sendai Framework itself and civil society's role in implementing it.
