About

Cultural and natural heritage offer powerful pathways to strengthen disaster resilience, promote social inclusion, and empower communities. The 2025 Resiliage Summer School, taking place at the UNESCO World Heritage Site Castello del Valentino in Turin, Italy, will provide an interdisciplinary learning environment focused on the intersection of heritage, technology, and disaster risk reduction.

Co-organized by UNESCO, Politecnico di Torino (POLITO), and UCLA under the CMINE initiative, and supported by the PARATUS and SYNERGIES Horizon Europe projects, this programme is part of the broader initiative Cultural Heritage in Context: Digital Technologies for the Humanities.

Participants from diverse backgrounds will engage in expert-led lectures, interactive workshops, group projects, and site visits. The programme offers hands-on experience with digital tools and community-based strategies that integrate cultural and natural heritage into resilience-building efforts.
