The Nexus Between Climate Change, Peace, and Conflict

Climate change is increasingly driving conflict and instability worldwide, especially in vulnerable communities. This event will explore into the Humanitarian-Development-Peace Nexus, and will consider how climate-induced shocks contribute to conflicts, as well as facilitating knowledge sharing and collaboration among stakeholders working on climate change, peacebuilding and conflict resolution.

 Join us to: 

  • Understand the interlinkages between humanitarian, development, and peacebuilding efforts 
  • Examine how climate change impacts peacebuilding and conflict resolution 
  • Identify strategies for enhancing resilience in conflict-affected communities 
  • Discuss the role of local and national actors in addressing these challenges
