Time

9.00AM - 12.30PM (GMT+11)

About

This workshop will bring together key stakeholders working in government policy development and application at local, state, and national levels to consider to what degree environmental justice is currently present in principle or action in adaptation planning in NSW.

Participants will be asked to consider whether and how features of justice-oriented adaptation research are present in disaster management, policy formulation, and longer term strategic adaptation planning. The workshop will provide opportunities for candid discussion amongst stakeholders working across distinct policy contexts, and will focus on identifying opportunities for more robust recognition and incorporation of just adaptation policy pathways.

This is a closed workshop.

The Sydney Environment Institute has partnered with Future Earth Australia on this event.
