This course is the successor of the 50th Disaster Management Course. The course offers skills and knowledge on disaster risk management and adopts a multi-hazard, multi-level, multi-agency and multi-disciplinary approaches for DRR and risk-informed sustainable development. The course incorporates new relevant concepts and topics such as risk-informed development planning, transparency and accountability, monitoring and evaluation through case study discussion and field visits.

The output of this course will be a tailored DRM action plan for sustainable development that participants will work on when they return to their organization.
