This final report summarizes the results of the project "Municipal Survey: Where do municipalities stand in adapting to climate change and how do they develop multifunctional and transformative adaptation solutions?", provides guidance on how municipal adaptation could be strengthened, and identifies future research needs. Municipal climate adaptation is a long-term and complex process that requires strategic action as well as stable and adaptable structures. Municipalities need support to achieve and sustainably embed adaptation progress.
