Viet Nam hosts Lower Mekong Initiative disaster management workshop

"This workshop on disaster risk reduction and management is an opportunity for all of you to share knowledge and experience to meet common challenges," US Consul General An Le said in the opening session on Monday. During the workshop, participants from Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Viet Nam and the US will share practical knowledge and experience on issues such as flood management and disaster preparedness and response, reports Viet Nam News.
