Thank you for your interest in submitting a session proposal for URf Pacific! The forum will be held from October 16-19 in Port Vila, Vanuatu.

Your input is essential to crowdsourcing an exciting and engaging technical program, representing a breadth of perspectives on climate and disaster resilience in the Pacific. Your contribution promotes a broader understanding of risk in the region, with the objective of furthering collaboration across the public and private sectors and civil society to build resilience to natural hazards.

URf Pacific will feature discussions on the challenges and opportunities in managing disaster risk in Pacific Island Countries, and Small Island States more broadly. URf Pacific will bring together policy makers, financial risk managers, and development partners to strengthen regional collaboration on climate and disaster risk finance.

Interactive sessions will showcase innovative approaches for risk identification and financial resilience – promoting government action, community engagement, and private sector solutions. The four-day program will include parallel tracks focusing on policy and technical solutions, with the fourth day dedicated to interactive training on relevant topics.
