International disaster reduction day & workshop

In occasion of the celebration of the International Disaster Reduction Day, IHDT, in collaboration with Oxfam, organizes on the 8th of October a Sri Lanka National Event, focused on "Strengthening Community based Disaster Risk Reduction”.

The Minister of Disaster Management & Human Rights, Hon. Mahinda Samarasinghe, will act as Chief Guest.

The programme will include:

Keynote Speech: “A vision for a future strategies of DRR in Sri Lanka” by Dr. Ananda Mallawatantri - Assistant Resident Representative UNDP
