Housing Systems Recovery and Readiness Assessment Addendum to RRFAT

HSRRAA supports implementation of the 2026 International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction Calls to Action on Safe Homes and Resilient Communities by enabling governments to assess the readiness of their housing systems to deliver resilient, inclusive and risk-informed housing before disasters occur. Through the identification of institutional, legal, financial, technical and social preparedness gaps, the assessment helps translate global commitments into prioritized actions that strengthen housing resilience and improve post-disaster recovery outcomes across governments, communities and the wider housing sector.
